INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup oats
- 1 cup raw sugar
- 100 gm. butter
- 1 cup walnuts
- 3 cups Zeijoa halves (remove the skin)
- Honey to taste
- Splash of Cointreau (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Process oats, sugar and butter in a food processor until it is crumbly
- Add walnuts and pulse making sure that the nuts do not become too chopped
- Put Zeijoas in ovenproof dish and add honey to taste (and Cointreau if using)
- Put dish in oven at 180˚C for 10 minutes to heat through
- Remove from oven and spread crumble mixture over the top
- Return to the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the topping starts to brown
- Serve with cream or ice cream
